Common reasons to book an online consult

Frequently asked questions

Will I need to download anything for this booking?

No. You will be sent a link directly to your email and can easily access your appointment by clicking the link on your phone, tablet or PC.

How can you assess and treat me without being in the same room?

You’ll still get the same high level of care you would in person, with a thorough assessment, exercise prescription, planning and an education session.

Is an online consult suitable for my injury?

Many injuries and rehabilitation needs can be assessed and managed online. If something needs to be seen in person, your physio will tell you.

Will I get an exercise program?

Yes. Your physio will build a program around your injury and goals and send it to your phone so you can follow it at home.

What do I need to join my consult?

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, microphone and a reliable internet connection. A quiet space with room to move is ideal.

How should I prepare for my consult?

Wear comfortable clothes that let you move and let your physio see the area that’s sore. Have any scans, reports or a list of medications nearby, and set your device up somewhere stable so your physio can see you move.

Can I book follow-up appointments?

Yes. Follow-up consults let your physio check your progress and adjust your plan as you recover.
